“ Wonderful food, service and atmosphere! Great chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi..highly recommended! ”
“ London, right? I can't remember. But I want to keep this review when I'm back there so I know where to go and can finish this. Geez. Sometimes life happens. ”
“ This is a solid restaurant to go to. I went with a friend on Friday night. It is beautifully decorated, and the lighting sets an intimate mood. The service was good: our waiter was great and checked in to make sure we were good. We ordered Indo-Chinese chicken rolls, a smoked duck, on-the-bone lamb, rice, and garlic naan. The smoked duck was a pleasant surprise and had a smoky taste. The lamb was well flavored and spices. Overall, the naan was the best. It had an amazing aroma and fresh garlic flavor. The only downside is that the meat was a bit dry and over cooked. ”
“ First meal in London on Christmas evening. Was searching high and low for a place open late. Went to one restaurant across town and found out they only had an expensive tasting menu with not many items, so left the place in hunt for something else. So kept checking Yelp and OpenTable and found this restaurant with a Christmas menu that wouldn't bankrupt us. Made an online reservation on OpenTable and took Uber which got us there on time. The food was more than excellent and had multiple parties in the mouth with how much flavor was contained in each and every dish. England takes their national dish of Indian food to the next level. The server asked if we wanted extras of anything else? We were so full we couldn't take a single bite more. Fantastic service, food, and ambiance. Would love to go back and order a la carte next time. ”
“ Prior to our holiday I researched about great Indian restaurants close by where we were going to be staying in London, and Salaam Namaste came first on our list. We went for dinner with my family and cousin which I have not seen in years. It was a Monday we went and they were supposed to be open at 5:30pm but we came half an hour early. They let us stay inside and chit chatted, served us drinks rather than sending us away and come back. The place is not too big but very clean and cozy. The lighting is perfect and there is good enough space for each one of us and our food and condiments on our table. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Dumpukht Lamb Biryani and Garlic Naan Bread. I just wished they had it served in big portions. Albeit, their food is very delicious! The dishes were neatly and appetizingly presented. On top of that, we were very pleased with their wonderful, very friendly and fast service. We didn't have to wait long to get our food. The manager was also very nice and accommodating. He came to our table and made sure we got everything we needed. The manager said that the meat they use is grass fed and free range from a ranch owned by Prince Charles. I think that's why the meat tasted good, apart from their chef's undoubtedly good skills of course and the spices they added to it. We will definitely be coming back when we visit again. I recommend this restaurant. They deserve full star. ”
“ Amazing Indian food! I came in as a solo traveler with no reservation. They sat me quickly and I ordered wine and an appetizer. For the life of me, and despite a search on their website, I can't remember the name of my dish. It's on the right side of the menu, at the very top. It's a specialty type dish for the restaurant. Anyway if you show them a picture they'll know what it is. Try it! I also finished with the grilled pineapple and coconut ice cream which was very good too! Disclaimer. They got busy half way through my meal and seemed to forget about me. I asked for the check twice and had to wait a while for them to respond. And last the pineapple in the desert was slightly undercooked, therefor hard to cut. But still delicious!! Don't let this deter you. Check this place out! ”
